Temporary Relocation of County Register of Deeds, Planning and Development, Treasurer's Offices in City County Building

Three offices located on the 1 floor of the City County Building will start remodeling this summer. The offices of the Register of Deeds, Planning and Development, and the Treasurer’s department will be temporarily moved while the remodeling is occurring.
The Register of Deeds department along with the Planning and Development department will be temporarily moving to the third floor of the Meriter Clinic building located at 345 West Washington Avenue Madison WI 53703. This building was selected due to the close proximity to the City County Building to help make this the best transition for Dane County residents. The Treasurer’s department will continue to be located in the City County Building during the reconstruction and will temporarily move to the 3 floor in room 340.
All three departments will need to shutdown normal operations while moving into these temporary workspaces.
The Register of Deeds office will be closed on both Friday May 30 and Monday June 2. Operations will resume Tuesday June 3 at their new location – 3 floor of 345 West Washington Avenue.
The Planning and Development department will be closed on both Friday May 30 and Monday June 2. Operations will resume Tuesday June 3 at their new location - 3 floor of 345 West Washington Avenue.
The Treasurer’s department will be closed on Friday June 13. Operations will resume Monday June 16 at their new location – Room 340 of the City County Building.
