 County Snowmobile and Cross-Country Ski Trails

 Snowmobile Trails - SE, SW and NW Open

The Dane County Council of Snowmobile Clubs and Dane County Parks announce that the Southeast, Southwest and Northwest quadrants, including the Military Ridge and Glacial Drumlin state trails, are open now open, Friday, January 20th at 6 p.m.  Trails in the Northeast Quadrant located North of the Glacial Drumlin Trail (Interstate 94 corridor) and East of Highway 51 will remain closed at this time.  Please check the Dane County Trail Information Line 608-242-4576 for current and updated conditions.

County Cross-Country Ski Trails

County staff will begin grooming county ski trails early morning Saturday, January 21st.      They will be groomed in this order:  Indian Lake, Lake Farm & E-Way, Token Creek and CamRock county parks.  A trail permit is required for all designated ski trails and can be obtained at the park trailhead or on-line at https://www.reservedane.com/permits/.
