Dane County Parks will host an informational meeting to discuss potential development of a new mountain bike trail system adjacent to the Capital City Trail and west of Seminole Highway in the City of Fitchburg. The project is included as a recommendation of the 2012-17 Dane County Parks and Open Space Plan and is consistent with plan priorities to improve access and connectivity to recreation facilities through non-motorized trails. City of Fitchburg staff will also be present to provide an overview of plans being generated for the Dawley Park Bike Hub located on Seminole Highway.
