Madison, WI: Saturday, May 31, 2008 At 1:45 am, on Saturday, May 31, 2008, Dane County Sheriff's Deputies, along with Belleville Police, and New Glarus Fire Department and EMS, responded to a reported roll-over crash on STH 92, .2 miles north of STH 69 in the Town of Primrose. First arriving units found the driver, and lone occupant, on the ground between the car and a tree. Investigators on scene believe the 24-year-old male driver, operating a 2003 Mazda 6S, failed to negotiate a curve on STH 92 while traveling southbound. After traveling through the east ditch for approximately 250 feet, the car began to roll end over end, ejecting the driver out of the car. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene by the Coroner's Office. This crash remains under investigation and the name of the deceased is not being released pending notification of next of kin. Speed and alcohol appear to be factors in this crash. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt.
