Fatality Crash in the Town of Sun Prairie

Madison, WI: At approximately 1:30 a.m. on October 30, 2007, Dane County Sheriff’s Deputies, Sun Prairie Police, and the Wisconsin State Patrol responded to a one vehicle fatality crash on County Highway N at Lonely Lane, town of Sun Prairie. Upon the emergency responders arrival a 1991 Ford Taurus was found to be full engulfed in flames. The driver, and only believed occupant, was not able to rescued. Initial information is that the vehicle was traveling North on County Highway N when it lost control and went off the road. The identity of the driver is being withheld pending notification of relatives. Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash. The crash remains under investigation by the Dane County Sheriff’s Office.
