Supervisor Shelia Stubbs to Hold Listening Session on Proposed Huber Facility in District 23-South Madison

Dane County Supervisor Shelia Stubbs will convene a Public Listening Session on the Huber/AODA Facility site proposed for South Madison on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 in Room 2234-A of the Villager Mall, located at 2300 South Park Street, at 5:30 p.m. Joining Supervisor Stubbs at the listening session will be Alder Timothy Bruer; Alder Isadore Knox; Dane County Sheriff Gary Hamblin; Dane County Sheriff Elect-Dave Mahoney; Dane County Jail Captain Mike Plumer; South Patrol Lt. Jane Stoklasa from the City of Madison Police Dept; Dane County Board Chairman Scott McDonell; members of the Dane County Huber/AODA Treatment Facility Site Selection Sub-Committee; and Bonnie Hammersley, Dane County Director of Administration, as the representative from the County Executive’s office. “It is essential that neighborhood residents attend this session to voice their opinions about the site proposal”, Stubbs said. “I have asked a number of city and county officials to attend the meeting so that they can hear the neighborhood’s concerns first hand.” Anyone wishing to speak will be given an opportunity to do so at this Public Listening Session.
