County Seeking Input for Cam-Rock Park Master Plan Update

Dane County Parks would like to invite all interested area residents to join them in discussing the Draft CamRock Park Master Plan and to review the written component of the plan. An informational meeting will be held at the Rockdale Village Hall, 208 Benton Street, on Monday, September 12 2005 at 7pm to discuss the draft plan recommendations. These include additional mountain bike trail development, development of a dog exercise area, canoe launches and construction of trails and bridges to improve connectivity to and within the park. The County started the process of updating the Cam-Rock Park Master Plan in November of 2004 with a series of public input planning workshops to generate ideas for future improvements to the park and now would like feedback from area residents on the draft plan. The plan will be on display at the Amundson Community Building and the Rockdale Village Hall after August 31st.
