The Dane County Sheriff’s Office is releasing a suspect composite sketch in the town of Cottage Grove home invasion that occurred over the weekend. At approximately 1:39 am on Saturday May 17th, Dane County Deputies and Cottage Grove Police responded to 3737 County Highway AB, where a lone gunman had entered a second floor residence and assaulted two people. A 63-year-old male and a 55-year-old female had been pistol-whipped by the assailant. Both victims were transported to a local hospital and treated for significant, but non-life threatening injuries. The suspect is described as a white male in his mid to late twenties, approximately 5' 8" to 5' 11" tall, with a athletic to muscular build and brown hair.
