Nominations are being accepted for the 2002 Dane County Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Recognition Award, Dane County Executive Kathleen M. Falk announced today. The award will be presented at the 17th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. City-County Observance at the Madison Civic Center on Monday, January 21, 2002 at 6:30 p.m., according to Ken Haynes, Dane County Community Program Coordinator. Since 1991, the Dane County Executive has presented the award to outstanding individuals for their efforts as leaders in Dane County and for exemplifying the true legacy of Dr. King. Nomination forms are available in the Dane County Executive’s Office, 210 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Room 421, Madison, WI, and on the Dane County web site.
