Town of Middleton Robbery

Just after 5:00 pm on Monday, November 7, a 16-year-old male entered the Sheriff’s Office West Precinct to report his 2012 Honda Fit had been stolen from him after a walk at Pope Farm Park in the town of Middleton.

The victim stated, two males, approximately 16-20 years old, wearing bandanas over their faces, approached the young man near his car and demanded his keys and valuables. A firearm was not displayed, however the victim believed he heard a gun being cocked.

The Honda Fit was recovered by Madison Police. This incident remains under investigation by both the Dane County Sheriff’s Office and the Madison Police Department. If you have any information related to the crime, please call the Dane County tip line at (608) 284-6900.
