DANE COUNTY HEALTH AND HUMAN NEEDS COMMITTEE TO HEAR PRESENTATION FROM HEALTHCARE WORKERS IN DANE COUNTY ON THE IMPACT THE PANDEMIC HAS HAD ON THEM

The Dane County Health and Human Needs Committee will meet virtually tonight, January 27 where a presentation will be given on the struggles that healthcare workers have and continue to endure during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The presentation will include findings from a survey of Dane County nurse and healthcare workers as well as recommendations moving forward.

"As we go into the third year of the pandemic, it is important to hear from the healthcare workers who have truly been on the front lines since day one. The emotional and physical strain from the pandemic on the this workforce needs to be heard and we need to find innovative ways to address the devastating impacts this has had on them," said County Board Supervisor Elizabeth Doyle (District 1), Chair of the Health and Human Needs Committee.
