Dane County’s Health and Human Needs Committee will meet virtually tonight at 5:30pm. The agenda is available here and includes information for members of the public to register to attend and/or speak at the meeting.

At the meeting, the committee will hear two presentations from staff on the Human Services Strategic Plan, and an overview of child protective services.

The 2021-2025 Human Service’s Strategic Plan includes five strategic priorities including: advancing racial justice, promoting organizational culture, modernizing internal infrastructure, strengthening partnerships, and innovating and building systemic solutions to the communities’ challenges.

"Given everything we’ve all been through this past year, I would like to applaud the staff that have persevered on creating this strategic plan. It is imperative that we have a plan to move forward and to monitor our progress along the way," said County Board Supervisor and Chair of the Health and Human Needs Committee Elizabeth Doyle (District 1).

The presentation for the strategic plan is available here.

The committee will also hear a presentation from staff on child protective services including key data updates and programmatic updates. The presentation can be found here.
