8:45-10:15 AM The Big Chill: Cold temperature effects on plants and avoiding damage: Dr. Laura Jull of UW-Madison will focus on how plants acclimate and tolerate severe winter temperatures. Discover what happens from the cellular level to the tops of buds during winter.
10:30 AM-12:00 PM: Perennials: New Trends, Plants and Varieties: Nancy Nedveck of The Flower Factory will cover all of this plus plants for adapting to the changing climate.
