Presentations in the Park - Attracting Eastern Bluebirds & Other Cavity Nesters

The Lussier Family Heritage Center will be hosting a variety of speakers throughout the summer, this week's presentation is curtesy of Patrick Ready from the Bluebird Restoration Association of Wisconsin (BRAW).  

Gates open at 5:30 PM and the presentation starts at 6:00 PM.  Please bring your own chairs or blankets and set up 6 ft. from other attendees.  BYO dinner or snacks and arrive early to get a drink from Delta Beer Lab. 

Patrick will talk about what it takes to attract birds that use nest boxes to your yard. His main focus will be on Eastern Bluebirds. Including types of nest boxes and habitat for bluebirds and other cavity nesters. Dos & Don’ts will be discussed. When is the best time and what to do if you have problems with House Sparrows and other issues will be covered in this presentation.  Patrick is a member of the Bluebird Restoration Association of Wisconsin (BRAW).  The Bluebird Restoration Association of WI has been operating for almost 36 years now and is dedicated to bring back Eastern Bluebirds to numbers they once had statewide. 

**Dogs are allowed but must be on a leash and not disruptive.
