Join the Friends of Stewart Lake at their Goat Squad Workday as they continue restoration efforts on a remnant prairie at Stewart Lake County Park. This prairie, known as goat prairie, is a beautiful spot overlooking Stewart Lake.
Restoration work will include removing invasive and woody vegetation growing in the prairie (there are no goats involved, just humans!). Tools and training will be provided. Dress for the weather, bring drinking water and gloves.
Come out to enjoy the fresh air and work for a few hours! Your help is most appreciated.
