Event Description

On Sunday, February 16, 2020, the League of Women Voters of Dane County presents its third 2019-20 Climate Crisis Series forum, The Promise of Ag Stewardship. The forum features three Wisconsin farmers who will share their experiences sustainably managing crops, livestock and land while producing food amidst the ever-changing weather conditions climate change precipitates. The forum farm panel participants are Kristen Kordet, owner of Blue Moon Community Farm in Stoughton; Dick Cates, co-owner of the Cates Family Farm LLC in Dodgeville and Wyoming Townships, Iowa County: and George Crave, Co-owner of Crave Brothers Farmstead Cheese in Waterloo. The program is free and open to the public and will be live-streamed on our Facebook page.


Location: E.D. Locke Public Library, 5920 Milwaukee St, McFarland, WI. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. The program begins at 1 p.m.
