Dane County Parks Volunteer Summit
- 03/07/2020 9:30 am - 2:00 pm
During this gathering, each Dane County Park Friends Group and Park Partner Group will have an opportunity to give a quick “3-minute, 3-slide” overview of their major projects and accomplishments over the past year.
To allow time for everyone to present, we will be strict with the 3 minute time limit. This is meant to be a quick overview so folks know who they want to connect with during the networking hours. Here are some suggestions of what to focus on:
- Projects/events that are unique or that went really well that you think might be a model for other groups
- Knowledge you gained over the year that other groups might want to talk to you about
- Problems or challenges that you would like help/suggestions on or areas where your group might want to partner with other groups.
After the presentations, we will have an opportunity for open networking time to give you the chance to connect with presenters to learn more about projects that peaked your interest.
We strongly recommend our Friends Group member and partner groups plan to attend.
If you are a member of a Dane County Parks Friends Group or Dane County Partner Group and would like to present at this event, please coordinate with your group to decide who will present and indicate on the registration page that you will be a presenter.
Please encourage others from your group to attend! This will be a great opportunity to network with other groups and share ideas and information.
Please sign up here.
