Join the Friends of Donald Park in a fall workday. This workday will focus on eradicating invasive species with hand tools in an oak savanna restoration area and other priority locations so that native plants can flourish. We work in teams, and no experience is necessary, just a love for the natural world and a desire to help out. What to wear: Long pants, long sleeves and closed-toe shoes. Be prepared to work in tall vegetation with uneven footing. What to bring: Please bring water, we will provide tools, but feel free to bring your favorite garden gloves, hand pruners and loppers if you have them. We will provide cookies for a midway snack. **Please RSVP to the work-party leader, Liz McBride at, firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday before the workday so she can contact you if we need to cancel.
