Youth Conservation Work Days

Event Dates

  • 06/26/2021 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Event Description

These work days are hosted by Youth Volunteers for Conservation (YV4C), a Dane County Parks and the Lussier Family Heritage Center program.

High school youth ages 15 – 19 are welcome. Join us as we work to preserve our prairie and woodland wilds! Depending on the park and habitat, tasks may include pulling invasive weeds, cutting back woody brush, collecting native seeds, or other stewardship work.

Parking is available onsite. Please bring your own gloves and drinking water. All other tools are provided.

We’ll send a reminder email out a week or two in advance with park location information. Cancelation notifications will be emailed out at least a day before the scheduled workday.
