The Dane County Clerk of Circuit Court now accepts credit or debit card payments through Government Payment EXP, a third party agency. Payments can be made using Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover Credit or Debit cards. Payments may be made online or by phone 24 hours a day.
Payments can be made for citations, fines, costs, attorney fees, mediation fees, guardian ad litem fees, juvenile legal fees, electronic monitoring fees, custody study fees, and copy and search fees.
Filing fees can not be paid online.
Review your citation to make sure it states an address of “Dane County Circuit Court” and/or “215 South Hamilton Street”. If the citation has another municipality’s address on it instead of the one listed above, you must contact that municipality directly about their payment options. This website
WILL NOT process those payments.
Also if the debt you are paying is at collections, you cannot make your payment through Government Payment Services. You must contact HE Stark Collection Agency at (608) 274-7764 to pay them directly.
